This page explains the cookies and similar browser storage our store uses, what each one is for and how you can control them.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Browser storage (local and session storage) works in a similar way. They let a store remember things like what is in your bag while you shop.
Cookies we need to run the store
These are always on, because the bag, checkout and account pages do not work without them.
- Your bag (WooCommerce:
woocommerce_cart_hash,woocommerce_items_in_cart,wp_woocommerce_session_…): remember the items in your bag. Kept for up to 2 days. - Signing in (WordPress:
wordpress_logged_in_…,wordpress_sec_…,wordpress_test_cookie): keep you signed in to your account. Removed when you sign out, or after 2 days (2 weeks if you choose “Remember me”). - Fast pages (LiteSpeed Cache:
_lscache_vary): make sure you see the right version of a page when you are signed in or have items in your bag. - Security: our web host, Hostinger, may set technical cookies to protect the store from attacks and to balance traffic.
Order source
When you visit, WooCommerce notes how you found us, for example a link from Instagram or a Google search (sbjs_… cookies). If you then place an order, this is saved with the order so we can see which channels bring customers. It does not identify you on other websites. These cookies are short-lived.
Browser storage
cgBag(local storage): the number of items in your bag, so the bag icon shows it straight away on every page.cgSeen(local storage): the last products you looked at, for the Recently viewed row. It stays in your browser and is only used on this store.cgNav,cgPromoOff,cgPromoH(session storage): make page changes smooth and keep the header in place between pages. Cleared when you close the tab.
Other websites
- Google Maps: the map on our Contact page comes from Google, which may set its own cookies when it loads.
- Facebook, Instagram and TikTok: our links to these sites set no cookies on our store. Those sites use their own cookies once you open them.
We do not use advertising cookies or cookies that track you across other websites.
How to control cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the cookies we need, your bag and checkout will not work. Deleting browser storage only resets the small conveniences listed above.
Changes to this policy
If we add new cookies, for example for visitor statistics, we will update this page first.
